Safety Guidelines for a Safe and Enjoyable Boat Experience
Welcome aboard! Your safety and enjoyment are our top priority. Please take a moment to review the following guidelines to ensure a safe and pleasant boat ride for everyone on board.
1. Pre-Departure Safety Briefing
- Watch the demonstration carefully from our experienced staff.
- Do not hesitate to ask any questions regarding safety or the operation of the boat.
2. Personal Safety
- Wear Life Jackets: Always wear life jackets, especially for young children and non-swimmers. It’s important to stay safe while on the water.
- Personal Belongings: Secure your personal belongings in designated storage areas to avoid losing them overboard. Ensure that electronic devices are protected from sun exposure and saltwater.
- Essential Items: Bring a fully charged cell phone, a hat, sunscreen, and light-colored clothing. These items will help protect you from the sun.
3. While Cruising
- Seated Passengers: Ensure all passengers are seated at all times while the boat is moving. This helps maintain balance and prevents accidents.
- No Diving Near Boats: Avoid diving in areas where many boats are present. Ensure that the boat’s engine is switched off and that your anchor is properly set before diving. Let out at least three times the depth of the water in anchor rope.
4. Onboard Operations
- Engine Controls: The boat operates through a remote control with three positions:
- Forward: Lever up.
- Neutral: Lever in the middle (used to start the engine).
- Reverse: Lever down (to reverse the boat).
- Starting the Engine: Always start the engine before lifting the anchor.
5. Safety During Operation
- Quick Stop: Always keep the Quick Stop feature within easy reach when sailing.
- Power Trim Usage: The boat performs best with the proper use of the power trim. Exercise caution during startup and when switching off the engine, particularly in shallow or rocky areas.
- Distance from Swimmers: Maintain a safe distance from swimmers. Always keep at least 2 nautical miles from the coast while cruising.
6. Alcohol & Boat Safety
- No Alcohol on Board: For the safety of all passengers, alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited while on the boat.
7. Stay Informed
- Priority Rules at Sea: Be informed by our staff on sea traffic priorities to ensure safe navigation.
8. In Case of Emergency
- Always follow the instructions from our staff and report any emergency situations immediately.
